I am also curious as to what artists do Sam, C.R., Grady, Lee, and Jeff each look to for inspiration and to what direction they see their music heading.

Any kind of questions for Sam. I plan to ask him about Michael Houser, Widespread Panic, The Assassin, The old days of Spreadnet, etc. in addition to Outformation. Because all that is part of Sam’s relevant background and perspective. He knows his Panic, and this is a Panic inspired radio show, so that is all in play.

For anyone planning to listen-live, the interview time is moved to 7:30 or 8 o’clock now. This is due to flooding on the road between St. Louis and Fayetteville, the band has gotten over the waters by now and are well on their way.

Sorry this is not related to Outformation but I always wondered about this. Sam, you seem to be a fan of The Marshall Tucker Band. I always thought Widespread Panic could really nail a MTB tune, especially during the Houser era. Why do you think they never chose to cover the MTB?
