Sarah Hughes is an award-winning singer-songwriter and guitar player from Arkansas who has a new CD out, No Seat Belt (a favorite of mine, that we’ve played many times on Honest Tunes Radio). Sarah announced she is moving to Austin, Texas in 2008 to pursue her music and life’s adventures and challenges. Tonight December 18, 2007, at 6PM Central, Sarah and Chris Plowman (Plowman’s Anti-POP-Ulous) from her local incarnation of the Sarah Hughes Band will perform a live acoustic set on-the-air from the studios of KXUA 88.3 FM Fayetteville on the campus of the University of Arkansas, for another edition of the Honest Tunes Weekly Webcast and a possible podcast release. On New Years Eve 12-31-2007, Sarah Hughes Band will celebrate the holiday and deliver a farewell Fayetteville show at George’s Majestic Lounge, with Big Smith. Every Sarah Hughes show is a burst of personality and fun, a vacation and a reason for a night out with friendly folks. This evening’s radio show is no exception. Thanks Sarah and Chris for playing the podcast.
