Last Tuesday, George’s jerrmy@greenhousegrille.com or go to Majestic Lounge
hosted a Benefit concert and silent auction for the Baby Eleanor, attended by her family and so many friends - some of the bands I saw play there included Speakeasy, Mountain of Venus
with a fantastic set, Mark from Big Smith
, and Joseph Isreal. I donated an Honest Tunes 160GB hard drive full of music videos, and a local music fan Jackson won it for the charity. The item I won was a Jeff Sipe Apartment 258 drummer package with a zambi alien self-portrait Sipe painted, plus an extensive solo CD catalog and 3 sets of autographed sticks. All told, the event raised a good bit of money to help with the medical expenses for the baby - donations are still being accepted via Jerrmy at the Greenhouse Grille
in Fayetteville. Eleanor Suttle, the 10 month old daughter of Clayton and Meredith Suttle, was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer. She has been undergoing chemotherapy at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis. Clayton and Meredith are co-owners of the Greenhouse Grille and co-founders of the Great Unknown Music Festival from Fayetteville, Arkansas. To offer a donation contact Jerrmy Gawthrop http://www.georgesmajesticlounge.com/eleanor/eleanor.html
