“Featuring 3 Sisters In The Round: Shannon Wurst, Sarah Hughes, Tanya Shylock”
Did anyone get a recording of the whole show? I only got a few minutes of the interview, so probably no podcast of this week, which is too bad because it was a great performance by 3 fine singers, I heard from a lot of live listeners who really enjoyed it, and so did I. -DG

Never heard of any of em.
Sarah Hughes is a good lookin gal with a twangy voice. That Deep Elem is almost country-funk if there is such a thing. That’s a cool little rendition of 1X1 too. [on YouTube]
Tanya appears to be more of a “free spirit”
Good lookin gal too though. Her voice reminds me a little of that singer in Morcheeba.

Sarah is just great, I go see her atleast once a week and have played with her a couple of times …she is just fun. Tanya has one of those powerful voices where you just know its her singing. Lyrics for Song: Die Die Die
Lyrics for Album: Emotionalism
She’s fighting with the sky
She thinks she can
Livin’ within a lie
She thinks she can
But nobody knows what lies behind
The days before the day we die
Die, die, die, die, die, die, die
Die, die, die, die, die, die, die
Die, die, die
She puts her hands against
The life she had
Living with ignorance
Blissful and sad
But nobody knows what lies behind
The days before the day we die
Die, die, die, die, die, die, die
You can try to swim the sea
But say goodbye to you and me
You can try to swim the sea
You can try to hold the breeze
You can try to hide the sun
But say goodbye to everyone

Brothers Past lyrics
Everything Must Go (Hamilton)
Cheated lives for everyone
Walking dead and armed with love
You realize you’re crazy
That you’re strung out
Get some sleep for sleeping’s sake.
Everything must go, everything
I’m gonna go tell everyone
Tell them that the new me has just begun to see the light of day
I’m busting out
I’ve got something real
I was told this feeling’s called goodbye
I’m gonna try, I’m gonna
I’m gonna go tell everyone
Tell them that this feeling’s called goodbye.
You give yourself to anyone
Walking dead and armed with love
You seem suprised you’re lonely
You’re so lonely
But you could never ever learn to love

Blight
(by Brute, with David Schools/Michael Houser/Todd Nance/Vic Chesnutt)
We sat on the couch a playin’
Touch the tongue and bump the table
But I was scorned after little ado
Tossed right out into the blue
I set into a downward spiral
Caught an illness that was literally viral
I heard some words of wisdom the other day
And they went in one of my ears and out of the other one
I awoke from this beatific binge
With prismatic eyes, now light is tinged
With all the vapors that the vile humans brew
Shining through the.. blight of you
Shining through the.. blight of you
Shining through the.. blight blight bight blight of you
