Wakarusa Webcasts:
To Everyone looking for a live video webcast from Wakarusa like they had at Mountain Jam and Bonnaroo: I don’t know yet if that is happening or not. I hope so. I will be there, I’ll update this post when I can. Check wakarusa.com for any possibility of this. If they don’t offer it this year we can tell ‘em we want it next time for those who can’t make it in person.
Heads Up For Next Tuesday June 12!
HEADS UP, OBSERVANT LISTENERS: Tune in Next Tuesday June 12 for a very special radio show with Special Guests tba. That night at George’s, Tea Leaf Green and Railroad Earth join together for an amazing night in Fayetteville, in a kind of post-Waka, pre-Mulberry party. (TLG and RRE are also both on the bill for Wakarusa Festival, and the upcoming Mulberry Mountain Harvest Music Festival.) So if you think about it maybe you can guess who we’ve invited to play on the radio show next Tuesday!

Dgold’s Music Travel Plans Blog For This Week
I’m leaving the show a little early tonight to pick up an artist at the airport who is flying in for the festival. We are heading up to Lawrence a day early to see BoomBox at the Bottleneck on Wednesday, and to set up the Honest Tune magazine
pop up palace and festival relaxation station in the midst of the fray known as the Wakarusa concert field, with permission of the concert field manager. Thereafter, a jaunt across Missouri to pick up with Tea Leaf Green at the Lucas School House in Soulard (which has a great reputation as a cool new place for live music, renovated, with an ideal courtyard set-up) on Thursday night, before returning to the Wakarusa in-progress on Friday.

Saturday at Wakarusa, I got invited to be the Moderator for the Press Conference, which will feature some of the best, biggest, and most interesting artists on the Wakarusa roster in a round-table discussion and Q&A with journalists from TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, and websites from many states. Dgold gots to pass tha mic to…. I’m hoping for members of several of the headliners and some of the cool up-and-coming bands and artists who have a story to tell. I’ll report back on this in my blog here on dgold.info/radio and also blogging on-site at the festival for HonestTune.com
Next Tuesday we’ll be back in Fayetteville to host a radio show, right before the Railroad Earth / Tea Leaf Green show at George’s Majestic. Tune in about 7 o’clock (Central time) on June 12th.
Wow. What a run this is going to be!!
