The show starts with a live in-studio appearance from Adam Hood, the singer from the state of Alabama. I just found out Patrick is coming along on drums. Short live interview, and an acoustic mini-set on the radio from Adam Hood around 8PM Central Time, before he heads down to George’s Majestic Lounge on Dickson Street for a concert tonight that starts around 9.
Adam Hood is in town for the CD release party of his brand new album. Hear tracks from the new CD for the first time on KXUA, tonight on Honest Tunes Radio Show .
Weakness For Blondes plays this weekend at Riverfest in Little Rock on Friday and nearby festivities on Saturday.
Amberland Festival in Georgia features many sets of Perpetual Groove (3 sets on Saturday and Sunday) plus Friday, crazy extra stuff like costume contests and pj party, and Brock Butler’s breakfast dealio, for the mega Pgroove throwdown of the summer on their home turf. They’ll also be coming up for Wakarusa in a couple weeks, and played there last year as well.
Check Jambase for more tourdates, that’s the best site and the primary source of our Honest Tunes Concert Calendar readings at the top of the hour.
Listen to the radio show webcast tonight for announcements of upcoming concerts in the Northwest Arkansas area for 2007, and hear new CD’s and classic tracks from the best of eclectic jambands and the full range of Americana roots.
