May 28, 2006 As most everyone is now aware, in late January 2006, Kirk Rundstrom was diagnosed with cancer of the esophagus. He has since completed an aggressive treatment of radiation and chemotherapy in which he has been recuperating over the last several months. All test currently indicate that no cancer is being detected and Kirk has been cleared for surgery to remove the remaining tumor. Kirk's surgery date has been scheduled for Friday June 2nd. The chain of events over the last several months has been nothing short of miraculous in terms of Kirk's condition and in the response of everyone involved. Kirk and his family would like to continue to thank everyone who has been involved thus far. The money is greatly needed- and the support of all our friends in the music and arts community is astonishing. We can not begin to describe the gratitude we feel for the encouragement and belief we receive from our friends.
