Widespread Panic releases official podcasts

Widespread Panic [LINK] started their own band-approved podcast. The first Widespread Panic Podcast features bassist Dave Schools interviewing guitarist George McConnell, along with several live Panic songs and other favorite music of theirs. It’s great music and funny stuff. Schools has always been the techie/computer guy in the band. This was probably his doing. The band’s official website directs only to ITunes and suggests that Apple software is required (works on Mac or Windoz); but then a friend and fan from Japan named Kenji provided Honest Tunes with a direct link to the first Panic Podcast free mp3. Copy-and-paste this URL into your browser and you can get the free mp3 audio file without using iTunes, if you wish: www.widespreadpanic.com/podcast/august05.mp3
